The Lussier Community Education Center is an innovative, inter-generational, green built, community center on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin. We are located on the grounds of Jefferson Middle and Memorial High Schools.

Our center has evolved out of the Wexford Ridge Neighborhood Center (WRNC) which has been serving and nurturing a growing population on Madison's west side for over 30 years.

Our mission is to provide programs, services, and access to resources that promote personal growth and community well-being in response to neighborhood needs. Madison is growing and changing, and the Lussier Community Education Center dramatically increases our capacity to impact our community. UPCOMING EVENTS AND HAPPENINGS AT THE LCEC

• KaBoom! and Kraft Foods Foundation select the LCEC as a site to get a new playground! We need to raise $7,500 to make this happen. Please consider giving to the playground fund here.

• PLAY AND LEARN TO RESUME AT THE LCEC
  The Play and Learn free play group for toddlers and their parents/ caregivers will be back at our center starting September 7th every Tuesday. One session is at 9:00 a.m. and the other is at noon.
  
  
• Senior Lunch Bunch
  Join the Lunch Bunch with the West Madison Senior Coalition at the LCEC ever Wednesday and Friday at 12:00 noon for lunch followed by a programming. Call 238-7368 for more information.
  
  
• ESL and GED Classes
  Come to adult education classes in English as a Second Language or prep classes for your General Education Diploma. These are taught by MATC teachers, free and open to all. Just show up, no pre-registration necessary.
  ESL Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-8pm
  GED Tuesdays 8:30-11:15am.
