Every week, Food from Friends offers fresh breads, produce, and an assortment of other perishable foods to anyone who stops by the LCEC. Copps Foods, Whole Foods, Bread Barn, Community Action Coalition, Wisconsin Harvest, Second Harvest Food Bank, and other local grocers donate food. Capitol Bank and Health Writers volunteers deliver food to the Center, and neighborhood volunteers run the program. Individuals and families may help themselves to what they need as often as they wish.
