"Once in a while a project comes along and you can just hear the click. The LCEC is one of those projects -- a chance to invest in the future. This is a chance to truly improve the quality of lives for individuals and our entire community."

The Lussier Community Education Center (LCEC) has been an innovative project of the Wexford Ridge Neighborhood Center in partnership with the Madison Metropolitan School District and the City of Madison. The LCEC is strategically situated on the Jefferson Middle School and Memorial High School campuses at 55 S. Gammon Road in Madison, Wisconsin.
Through this pioneering school-city-community partnership, new opportunities and comprehensive programs can now be offered that would not otherwise be possible. The LCEC opened its walls between the schools and our community on September 22, 2008, creating a new kind of environment in which to teach, learn and grow leaders. It is a community space for people of all generations to come together to share.
This dynamic facility is a model for the nation -- built for today and with future generations in mind.
