MMSD Play and Learn
Play and Learn is a free program for children from birth to five years old, and their caregivers. Caregivers can be parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, in-home day care providers, or anyone caring for young children. Play and Learn is a three hour playgroup that meets once a week and includes a variety of activities that may include stories, cooking, pretending, singing, building, or crafts for caregivers and children to do together.
Your child or children will learn important math, literacy, and social skills.
This time will also give you, as the caregiver, valuable resources and information on your child's development as well as time to meet with other caregivers and families in your neighborhood.
Snacks and take-home activities will also be provided.
Play and Learn meets Tuesdays at 9:00am and 12:00pm (two sessions, attend one weekly) in the Community Room (Gym).
