Through after school programs and summer camp activities, elementary age children participate in a variety of fun activities that provide academic support and enrichment. They also develop social skills and participate in service learning projects. LCEC supplements daily programming with periodic offerings such as artists-in-residence, regular literacy programs with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, a children's garden and environmental education program, and Junior Achievement financial education activities.
Children ages 7-10 are engaged in homework clubs, dance classes, community service projects, the Reading Buddies Program, science projects, talent shows and much more.
